Is spray foam affordable? Yes!!

COSTS MORE UP FRONT? The cost of spray foam is front end loaded, or so it appears that way. What I mean is you pay a larger amount up front. But there are no hidden fees, no need to add more insulation in 10 year because of settling, no nothing. Just savings. Day after day after day of savings. Savings while you sleep. Savings while you’re gone on vacation. Savings when you’re at work. And did I mention savings?

COSTS LESS UP FRONT! Now let’s do some simple math to show you how we can actually eliminate the up front cost of spray foam so you can install spray foam with LESS UP FRONT COST THAN TRADITIONAL INSULATION! Let’s say it’s going to cost you an extra $5,000 to upgrade to spray foam. You add that on to your 30 year mortgage and at a 3% interest rate it will cost you an additional $21 per month. If your average utility cost is $150/month and I save you 30% with my spray foam then I saved you $50/month for an additional cost of $21/month on your mortgage payment. That means the spray foam is MAKING YOU $29/MONTH! Now, multiply $29/month by 30 years and by the time you have your loan paid off you have saved $10,440. And that doesn’t even take into account the rising cost of energy, If the cost of gas or electricity goes up in the next 30 years, you will simply be saving more!

LOWER EQUIPMENT COST: If you’re building a new structure and you use spray foam you will need a smaller furnace and air conditioner which will cost less up front as well.

TAX CREDITS: For a number of years now there has been a tax credit for insulation which also makes it more affordable. Be sure to check with your local tax professional to find out how you can save money on your taxes by adding insulation to your home.
